4. Massage in circular motions and let it sit as directed on the product label.
5. Rinse with warm water, massaging upward as you go.

The ideal frequency depends on your skin type. Use a face exfoliator once a week to maintain balance for dry or sensitive skin. Normal and combination skin can exfoliate one to two times weekly, while oily skin benefits from the same routine to manage oil and keep pores clear.
